This is officially the first post on this blog, after so many years of its existence. It's really ridiculous (yes I know), but there's no point covering my face now. Before you shoot me in the head or nail me to the cross, please give me a chance to explain myself.
Way back in 2009, I created this blog for all reasons other than to actually write. I must say that I haven't really picked much interest in writing then, or succinctly put, I had much interest in other things - like making money online through clicks, traffics and ads; running the whole blog by copying, pasting and referencing articles on diabetes (which was the reigning thing then...kinda like "trending" in a weird way) from other sources, hence the diabetes-reeking address of the blog which I had forgotten until now.
In summary, I wanted to make money without actually blogging! Fun, right? Looking back now I can only smile at myself, especially at the unbelievable reversal of everything.
Fast forward five years, I still won't call myself a writer. I scribble thoughts, experiences, opinions and well, sometimes a few rants in my own way. I blog on another platform now, and the little something I started a while ago will be two years old in a few months. I try my best to update it regularly (at least a few times every month), and I seriously don't bother myself about monetary potentials of clicks and traffic (not that I have a problem with the idea of making money though).
Stumbling upon this this morning, I made the move to close the blog since there's no point running two things that serve the same purpose, but then I felt it won't hurt if she stays on. Who knows what I might come up with tomorrow and do with her anyway? Besides, she can help guide you to the main platform.
I guess I churned out a little bit of rant eventually. *smiles*
